Description
Yugoslavian Mauser M 1924B rifle cal. 7.92. Yugoslavian serial number: 74 faint on crossguard and M 24 also faint on the reverse side. Excellent German M 98 blade, shortened to 375 mm. German maker's name: C. G. HAENEL, SUHL on ricasso. German M 98 pommel but the hilt is converted by a new added Yugoslavian crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 15.5 mm. No quillon. German wooden grips replaced by Yugoslavian style wooden grips with 9 short rips. No scabbard, but they normally come with the standard Yugoslavian/ Belgian M 1924 scabbard.
Yugoslavian post WWI conversion of a German M 98 to fit the Yugoslavian M 1924b Mauser rifle. Very crudely refurbished.
