WZ29 Mauser type carbine. Serial number: 417687 on crossguard. Excellent++ bright finished fullered blade crisp marked: H in a box, - PERKUN - M in a triangle on the ricasso. The reverse side shows crisp: Polish Eagle over W.P.(= Woisko Polski (= Polish Army) Large bright pommel with T-O. mortise slot. Round stamp on pommel chin. Thin crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 15.5 mm. Some user spurs only to the Flash guard.
Excellent wooden grips, screwed to the blade tang and not riveted. Oil cleaning hole in grips.
Correct and excellent green painted Polish scabbard with no dents. Throat is central riveted to the scabbard body on both sides.
Early Polish M 1928 bayonet with a flash guard. Later produced M 1928 bayonets were made without a flash guard.
Hard to find bayonet! Very nice example!
