Swiss Schmidt-Rubin carbine M 1911 Cal. 7,54 mm /Schmidt-Rubin carbine M 1933. No serial number. Minty bright finished double edged blade with Swiss makers name: ELSENER - SCHWYZ - VICTORIA in three lines on the ricasso. Bright finished heavy pommel and crossguard with straight quillon and muzzle ring MRD 14 mm. The hilt is of a heavier design than the standard M 1918 bayonet and is identical to the hilt of the M 1914 pioneer sawback bayonet. Minty wooden grips.
Minty blued steel scabbard with leather tap. Throat and scabbard body are both marked with a script P (= Paillard AG of St. Croix). No dents.
Brown leather frog with two brass rivets. Swiss makers name and date crisp on the reverse side: A. KAMMACHER-Lenklys 1936.
Mint un-issued bayonet. Only 13.300 Swiss M 1918 bayonets were made in the 50ties and are quite rare. This particular and scarce VICTORIA marked bayonet was made by Victorinox between 1950 and 1955 using the heavy grip of the M 1914 Pioneer bayonet .
