Israelian M 1949 bayonet (ABC N 409-1 (JN 116-3 ) (K 146)

Mauser M 84-98 Carbine. Serial number: 22926 on the pommel. Excellent dark parkerized fullered heavy blade with a long fuller running to the point and a long false edge. Ricasso is marked with Hebrew markings, Israeli inspection markings and date (19) 49. Parkerized pommel and crossguard marked with a Star of David and muzzle ring; MRD 15,5 mm. Excellent- black plastic grips showing user spurs, with 6 ribs secured to the tang by two steel screw bolts. No flash guard.
No scabbard.

Very nice very crudely made heavy bayonet. Historic piece! Made in Israel and it is believed these are made from old railway bars. Very interesting piece.
