Belgian M 1924 long export bayonet. (ABC N 872-3)(JN 0) (K 189)
Belgian FN Mauser M24, 24/30, 1934. Kal. 30.06. Minty long dark blued fullered blade. Deep blued pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 15,5 mm. Very good wooden grips secured with screw bolts to the blade tang. Some minor damage to the left grip around the screw bolts only. Oil hole in grip. Excellent deep blued scabbard with no serial number and no serieus dents.
Comes with its unidentified ligt brown leather frog marked: 389 over a small H on the reverse side.
Belgium made these export bayonet in different configurations and qualities for diverse countries. It is not known where this example was used. South America?
