303 no.5 Jungle carbine MK1 and MK2. No s# Excellent bright finished fullered Bowie type blade. First 0,5 cm blackened. British makers trademark: P. in a Circle (=Poole Arsenal ) and date: 1946 crisp on the ricasso. Blackened pommel with circular mortise slot and clearance hole. British inspection marking on pommel top and /I\ 97 on mortise slot. Minty wrap around 2 parts wooden grip secured by two screw bolts. Blackened crossguard with muzzle ring MRD 22.5 
Minty blackened dents free MK1 scabbard with a brass throat. 
Comes with an excellent P 1944 jungle belt frog. Two loops on one site and a retaining loop. Reverse side is marked: /I\ MEC 1945 over  A.F. 0261
Lightweight jungle green webbing belt frog, proofed for wear in the Far East.
