Schmidt-Rubin Carbine 1911 cal. 7.54 and M 1931 carbine. Serial number: 821311 on the crossguard. Superb double edged blade with maker's name: ELSENER over SCHWYZ on the ricasso. Excellent bright finished large pommel and crossguard. MRD 14 mm. Excellent wooden grips. Excellent blued metal scabbard with leather strap. Top of the scabbard and throat are both marked with a rifle pict.
It comes with an Excellent dark brown leather frog marked: AL.KÄLIEN over EINSIEDELN over date: 1950.
