US. M1 Garand rifle. Cal. 30. - M1 bayonet. Excellent fullered parkerized blade with a small false edge. Not shortened!. US makers trademark: U. C. (= UTICA CUTLERY - New York) U- Ordnance bomb- S in two lines on the ricasso. Excellent blued pommel and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 16 mm.
Ribbed black plastic grips secured to the tang by a single screw.
Excellent olive green plastic scabbard with a parkerized top mount and a US belt hook.
These were rather crudely made during WWII wartime (1943)
