Egyptian Hakim bayonet (ABCN248)(JN40-1)
Hakim semi-automatic rifle, cal 7.92. Serial number: in Arabic on blade tang. Excellent blued double edged blade with central rib and small fuller. Blued pommel and crossguard with straight quillon and muzzle ring MRD 14,4 mm. Wooden grips fixed with two screws to blade tang showing some user spurs only.
Excellent all metal blued scabbard with a not matching serial number in Arabic and no dents.
This bayonet comes with a modified Swedish brown leather frog with retaining strap as found. These Swedish frogs are correct for this Egyptian bayonet.
These Hakim bayonets were made in Egypt in 1949-50 with help from Sweden. These are getting harder to find nowadays.
