This periscope is in an excellent working order with a very bright vision. It magnifies 6 times and there is a distance meter in the scope.
It contains ca. 80 % of its original green paint.
These handy trench scopes were made during and after WWI. During the German occupation of France in WWII, the Germans took over the production.
Last picture shows a German soldier using the periscope during WWII.
Rare and curious item.
