Australian L1A2 SLR bayonet. (ABCN167-3)(K 753)(JN 5-3)

L1A1 SLR cal. 7.62  / 9 mm F1 submachine carbine. No serial number. Minty fullered grey parkerized blade with Bowie style tip. Rounded fullers. All steel grey parkerized hilt and crossguard with muzzle ring. MRD 15 mm. No markings nor makers name as usual.
Excellent grey parkerized steel MK1 scabbard with no dents. Brass throat. 

The L1A2 bayonet was adopted in 1957. Production began in 1958 until 1984 at Lithgow small arms factory. They do not show any markings. The rounded fuller models were made from 1960. 
The Australian made L1A2 SLR bayonet was also issued to New Zealand.

This model is getting scarce.
