English No. 4 MKII socket bayonet by Singer unusual marked: No.4 Mk2. (ABCN33)(K3)(JN60-3)
Enfield 303. No.4 rifle. Excellent blackened socket and a bright finished round blade made from one piece of steel. Socket is marked: N67 (= Dispersal code for Singer) and struck three times (!) One time very crisp: No. 4 Mk2 instead of the usual way of marking: No.4 MKII ?. Reverse is marked /I\.
Excellent blackened English MKI scabbard. Throat is nicely marked No.4 MKI and with a dispersal code: S 286 (= Vanden Plas England 1923 Ltd. Kingsbury Road -London), W in a circle and a /I\
Comes with its minty Indian made khaki P37 belt frog. (Ref: AC 162 )
A common bayonet from a common maker but quite odd struck: No.4 Mk2!!
Almost the same way the Belgian produced socket bayonets were marked: No.4 MK2.
