Yugoslavian converted German M98/05 bayonet. Matching! Blackened for WWII by Germany again!.(ABCN777-5)(K866)(JN243-3)

Yugoslavian Mauser M 1924B rifle cal. 7.92. Yugoslavian serial number: 5788 Matching on the crossguard.  Excellent++ dark blued reworked German M 98/05 blade. The blade is made slimmer and is straightened. German maker's name is hard to read but is still on the ricasso: WAFFENFABRIK over MAUSER A.G. over OBERNDORF a.N Dark blued German M 98/05 hilt with a removed The flash guard of the German M 98/05 hilt is removed and a new crossguard with a muzzle ring added. MRD: 15,6 mm. No quillon. The German wooden grips are replaced by Yugoslavian style crudely made wooden grips with 9 oblique short ribs. 
The Yugoslavian standard M 1924 blued steel scabbard shows a matching serial number: 5788 on the frog stud and is marked AT3 in a triangle (= a Yugoslavian Arsenal marking; AT3 in a triangle  (=ATZ=Artiljerijko Tehniki Zavod- Kragujevac. 1923-1931) 
No dents to the scabbard.
Comes with its correct Yugoslavian M24b brown leather belt frog as found, dated: '42 in the triangle.

Very interesting and near MINT Yugoslavian Post WWI conversion of a German M 98/05 bayonet to fit the Yugoslavian made M 1924b Mauser rifle. 
This example was blued after the factory was taken over by Germany in WWII (1942.) This one kept the muzzle ring.
These are not very common!
